Jabil Expands Technology Services

Jabil Circuit, Inc. (NYSE:JBL) today announced further expansion of Jabil Technology Services with the establishment of three new design centers located in Bergamo, Italy; Penang, Malaysia and Raleigh, North Carolina.
"We are continuing to expand our capabilities in order to better service our global customers," said Jeff Lumetta, Vice President, Jabil Technology Services. "By driving technological innovations we can assist our customers as technology demands on them increase."
The new centers will house electrical and mechanical design services, global test services, printed circuit board layout services and advanced manufacturing technology research. Each new location is staffed and operational.
"We are answering the needs of our customers by offering original design for manufacturing (known as ODM) capability within the EMS business model," said Lumetta. "We provide a broad array of services, including advanced optic design, RF design and the manufacturing solutions necessary to quickly realize volume production."
